The Shipper and Receiver will perform and/or supervise general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment. You will be reporting directly to the lead hand shipper.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ship and receive all materials as required and deliver/pickup items from various suppliers.
Coordinate packing and shipping of all goods, including assembling packages and weighing them. Providing documentation to appropriate departments for client billing purposes.
Ensure products being shipped to customer is accurate.
Resolve discrepancies between orders and goods, such as delays, condition, weight, quality, etc.
Maintain inventory of incoming, stored, and outgoing goods, as well as current space available.
Order shipping supplies as required.
Pick products to fulfill customer orders from stock and to restock retail store.
Pick products for conference attendance.
Perform general housekeeping tasks within the shipping & receiving area.
Perform general duties and assist production team as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma.
Knowledge of major couriers – FedEx, Purolator, UPS and Canada Post
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
High attention to detail essential with ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment.
High attention to internal and external customer needs.
Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the job and lifting up to 50lb • Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to multitask and assist production team when required.

Embroidery Assistant
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzing and understanding project specifications and clients’ needs before starting each embroidery project.
Selecting the thread, fabric, hoops, and designs appropriate to each project.
Cutting, snipping, folding and packing product.
Setting up machines and supervising the embroidery process.
Performing regular machine and inventory inspections and reporting any issues.
Providing suggestions regarding the design, placement, and fabric and thread selection.
Keeping track of work orders and updating records.
Counting product and receiving as needed
Folding and packing orders
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma.
Completion of a course in design or similar would be advantageous.
Experience as an embroidery machine operator or similar preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
The ability to read and understand instructional manuals.
Excellent administrative abilities and attention to detail.
